Item description : A Utsushi (a reploca) Suzuribako of FUnabashi Makie which is originally made by Koetsu Honnami Kotetsu in Momoyama period (1500's) It has been maintained in Tokyo National Museum as one of national treasures.

Name of artist : Mr Gaho Maehata (1936- ) who is a famous MAkie artist lives in Yamanaka Ishikawa prefecture.

Age : 1990's
Condition : Excellent in mint
There is a spot of discoloration seen in the back of the Suzuri stone as shown.
