Item description : Hagi Yaki tea bowl in Tsutsu style (cylinder shape) with the design of a standing crane (called Tachi-zuru i Japanese).The design of the standing crane was originally designed by Iemitsu Tokugawa, the third Tokugawa Shogun and applied to the tea bowls as a valuable symbol.

Name of potter : Mr Takeo Yamazaki who owns Shoun kiln in Hagi Yamaguchi pref.. It could be a nice item to add to your tea bowl collections.
