Item description : This is a Karado Furo in the Doan style made of copper named after Sen Doan who was a member of Sen family in Azuchi-momoyama period (late 1500's) with Gotoku-stand. It is used for a tea ceremony maily used for May through October of the year. This is one of the basic style of a Furo used for a tea ceremony and please add it to your collection if you do not have any.
Age : 1970's
Condition : Very good for age. There tiny scratches seen in the side and the bottom as shown.
