This is a Hagi-Yaki tea bowl, made in Tokozan, Shogan Kiln who has been taken over in 10th generation so far. A Hagi-Yaki is one of famous Japanese kilns located in Hagi Yamaguchi prefecture. They have a 400 years history so far and have been appreciated by lots of people who are fan about a tea ceremony. This bowl is a brandnew and made by a modern potter, Yamato Shogan. Please see the mystic glazed appearance. It creates profound and natural beauty. It is provided with a wooden box described the name of the bowl in the back side of the lid and the artist signature and stamp on the front.
