Item description : This is a degnified Kuroraku tea bowl in Koetse Utsushi (original shape was invented by Honami Koetsu who was an artist in Edo period, 1500's) with the Kiwame gaki (a written statement given to an item which is acceped as one of masterpieces by a authority) by a chief priest at Daitokuji temple in Kyoto. Please feel this stately apperance which is so attractive. Please add this masterpiece to your collection. Signature of the prist is arranged on the back on the lid and in the bottom of the tea bowl as shown. Unfortunately, we found that there is a very tiny hair crack seen on the Kuchizukuri (the edge of teh bowl) when we were taking pictures of the item but it is not remarkable at all. We were going to quote US$480.00 but listed it at US$98 due to this reason. We still guarantee that it is still valuable to add to your collection.

Age : 1990's

Condition : Excellent Appearance in mint but has the said flaw.
