Item description : This is a Shodai yaki tea bowl located in Kumamoto, made by Mr Jitaro Chikashige who owns Takemiya kiln. Shodai yaki is originated in 1650's and has been taken over into the present time. We would say that their designs and shapes are similar to Ageno, Koishiwara. Please look at the stylish design of the glaze naturally made. Please add this fantastic tea bowl to your collection.
