Item description : Rakuyaki Fumibako including a Suzuri and Suiteki with design of deer on the lid, which is incredible rare to see in the market. There is a signature of Koetsu in the bottom but it is not sure if it is so-called Utsushi item(replica) of Koetsu Honami (1558-1637) but it must be an antique which was made probably late 1900's or before guessing from the condition of the box. We would strongly recommend you to add to your collection of Japanese antique.

Condition : Excellent. There are thin chips slightly seen on the edge of the Suzuri as shown. The lid of the wooden box (a Tomobako) is almost broken.
