Name of item : Rakuyaki tea bowl, Koetsu(a great artist in Edo period 1600's) - Utsushi (a replica) of "Kaga-Koetsu" This tea bowl is one of the 7 representative Koetsu tea bowls and called "Kaga-Koetsu" because the original tea bowl was found in Kaga (name of a feudal clan, currently Ishikawa prefecture) and the most tasteful tea bowls of his 7 teas bolws. It is still kept in a museum as an important cultural properties.
Name of potter : Mr Shoraku Sasaki (1944-) 3rd who is the most famous Raku-yaki potter lives in Kyoto.
